My work as a data-driven global health professional across diverse national and international nonprofits, humanitarian organization, and the social impact sector at large is deep rooted in my passion to serve marginalized communities in low-resource settings. Some of the projects I have led include:
- Successful writing and winning of multi-million dollar bids totaling more than $10m to support the development of technologies that amplify youth power, agency, and opportunity in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Development of a practical guide on designathons in health and health research with the World Health Organization, and the Social Innovation in Health Initiative.
- Co-creating visions for future citites, and evidence-informed advocacy tactics with young people in Nigeria and Kenya at the Children & Young People, Cities and Climate project in conjunction with LSHTM, YLabs, C40, and Urbanbetter.
- Hosting a global convening for the first-of-its-kind mixed methods study involving over 12,000 young people and key stakeholders across Nigeria, India, El Salvador and the USA to reimagine the future of sex education.

What I'm currently up to
- In partnership with PSI, I am leading the DISC (Delivering Innovation for Self-Care) 2.0 workshop- the next wave of scaling access to self-inject contraception (Sayana press) for women in Malawi, Uganda, and Nigeria.
- As the cofounder of TIDA, I am co-creating youth-led solutions with Nigerian youths to address issues that affect them across reproductive health, climate change, mental health, and gender-based violence.
- In partnership with WHO, UNICEF, and SIHI, I am currently leading the development of a practical guide on youth co-creation for health programs and research.
- As the cofounder of Triple A, I am working with young people to spread awareness on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), generate evidence through research and implement community-led solutions addressing the drivers of AMR in Africa.
- I am currently preparing a protocol for the first nationwide discrete choice experiment in Nigeria to inform policies on multiple paths to HIV prevention for young people and key populations.

As a researcher
I have leveraged participatory action research methodologies such as crowdsourcing, design research and designathons to co-create people-centered public health interventions with the target beneficiaries across multiple projects in HIV/AIDS, antimicrobial resistance, reproductive health, climate change and digital health for more than 5 years across 7 countries. My north star is to be able to take efficacious tools, treatments, and interventions that already exist but limited in LMICs and make them available to those that need them through implementation science, and lastly to ensure that systems are in place to support sustainability.
As a growth & partnerships specialist
I have navigated various roles from supporting nonprofit through the business development cycle, to leading complex bids to technical, cost proposal design, budget narratives, recruitment, and award negotiations with donors. I have supported the successful writing and winning of multi-million dollar bids totalling more than $10m in the last 2 years. Recently, I supported the scaling up of a SRHR digital platform to Mozambique through a $1.28m award at Youth Development Labs Inc. As the growth & partnerships coordinator at YLabs, I have supported the winning of the ACCESS program; a five-year, $89.8 million initiative, funded by the USAID that aims to transform (FP/RH) services across select low- and middle-income countries.
As a human centered design expert
I have supported the development of digital tools and products that puts people first and this user-centeric approach has successfully helped to create people-friendly health services while enhancing uptake. I co-founded the innovation and design thinking academy to train young people in Africa on human centered design and its application. I have been able to develop a self-learning management system to support this. Also, I led the development of the first-of-its-kind web platform to increase awareness and access to HIV Pre-exposure Prophylaxis among adolescents and young adults in Lagos, Nigeria.
I have collaborated with research experts from UNC-Chapel Hill, University of Oxford, Washington State University, LSHTM, University of Tokyo, Melbourne University and Saint Louis University. I have published 20 manuscripts and 2 book chapters. Based on my contributions to these projects, I was selected to receive the Diana Award in the UK. I also co-chaired a steering committee that developed a WHO/TDR Practical Guide for Designations in Health and Health Research and have disseminated this important handbook through participatory workshops in Nigeria, Germany, Japan, Australia, and the UK. Together, with Social Entrepreneurship to Spur Health (SESH Global); a large multidisciplinary team of researchers, innovators, designers, and behavioral scientists, I have contributed to 5 open calls, 4 designathons, and 6 co-creation activities to create person-centered health interventions.
